Recently we had a client that made the decision to use a local company for their lobby sign. Unfortunately the company took the easy route for the installation which in turn caused portions of the installation to fail. The client contacted Metro Nova Creative to come in and make the necessary repairs. There were obvious things that stood out that were done wrong. Cutting corners isn’t the solution when dealing with a large sign that could fall and break, or even cause injury.
As you can see from the photo below, the adhesion process was done incorrectly when the sign was moved from its original location to the second location. Debris was not removed from the backing of the sign like it should have been and the tape was only patched instead of evenly applied.
This result of cutting corners?
So after the wall was cleaned properly and we scraped all the debris from the backing of the sign we were able to get the sign put back together!
You don’t have to hire Metro Nova Creative (although we would appreciate it). Please, shop around and make an informed decision. The only thing we ask is that you use a reliable company. Be informed, hire a pro!
