3 Ways To Love Your Brand

We want you to feel the LOVE! You (hopefully) already love your brand and you want other people to love it too. There are 3 surefire ways to connect deeply with your audience so that you can experience genuine business relationships and organic growth. It’s been proven time and again that natural connections lead to a more loyal customer base (although there is always a place for sponsored and boosted marketing).

BE AUTHENTIC.

This means exactly that. Maybe your mom told you the same thing when you were growing up: “Be yourself”. She knew that if you stayed true to yourself, did the things you truly enjoyed, you would attract and connect with people that had things in common with you. Finding your “voice” in business and marketing is exactly that! Find your niche and lean into it. You will enchant the most loyal fans that will grant you the most coveted of all marketing: word of mouth, grassroots LOVE. You know we have to do a little Metro Nova plug because we can put together an identity package for you to help you find your voice and to help your dream customers actually HEAR that voice! If you love your brand, other people loving your brand will follow.

BE VALUABLE.

What do you bring to the table? ANYONE can create and sell a product. However, in such trying times, people definitely want to know that they are getting VALUE in the breakdown of their costs. How you attach value is individual to each product/service. Customer service should be an obvious way to add value. Providing excellent customer service might knock some of your competitors out of the way.

Education is next! How do you educate your customers on your products, services, information related to your business? If a customer feels as though they know more when they leave than when they walked in, they are more likely to return!

An often overlooked component of value is community outreach. How much do you volunteer or donate? Start small! Just find a cause that speaks to you, maybe even relates to your business, and get involved! People will take notice of the value you add to your community, which is invaluable. All that positivity circulating? Feels like love to us!

TELL A STORY.

If you were going to make a friend, you would want to know the person that you were friends with, right? It can be a little more challenging as a business to convey quickly (often at a glance!) who you are, what you do and what you represent. Talk about pressure! Often, who you are can be conveyed simply through careful logo (color and image) selection and font! There’s a whole theory behind the selection of colors, what they mean, and what people associate with those colors as regards to business.

Color Theory
Color Theory

For instance, you’ll see a lot of grocery stores use green to imply freshness or red to infer hunger. Blue can imply professionalism and yellow can stand for happiness! What colors are you using in your marketing? The images you use for your logo need to make an immediate impression. Font is wildly important! Do you have a fun font? Is it streamlined and professional? There’s a psychology to every bit of it in order to tell a story at a glance. Then, it’s up to you to continue that story throughout your marketing.

For instance, Metro Nova Creative had teamed up with Ignite Cinemas and FXBG Mainstreet to create a quick story-telling opportunity called “Scan and Love”. A QR code was created for each business that participated. When it was scanned, a video will pop up on a mobile device to tell the viewer all about the business! It’s one of the ways that we have added to not just OUR value, but added value to other businesses by giving them another opportunity to connect to their purchasing base by TELLING THEIR STORY.

People are buying with their hearts more and more. More than ever, you see hashtags about shopping small. There are whole days, weeks, and months dedicated to small businesses. We believe that people ARE willing to spend a little more IF they connect strongly to a businesses’ cause or if they provide something more valuable than a business chain. At MNC, we want people to love your brand. We know we sure do.
